LIFE IS BETTER IN THE AIR

Azure

Posted on September - 21 - 2010

Located on the top two floors of Hotel LKF, Azure is a sophisticated yet contemporary restaurant and lounge. The most striking here is the prospect of looking down at the city lights from such a dizzying height.  There is also the possibility to relax at 29th & 30th floors and feel the vibrant spirit of the city in the soft jazz played in the background.
To get to the roof (on the 30th floor),  you have to buy a drink. But we are pretty sure that most of our readers always do so…

ToTT’s Roof Terrace

Posted on July - 12 - 2010

Causeway Bay has one swanky rooftop respite that isn’t talked about much. Ironically, it’s called ToTT, which stands for Talk of The Town. RED finds itself in the shadow of the International Finance Center, all 86 floors of it (it’s on the rooftop garden of the IFC mall). It’s true that the IFC isn’t much to go drooling over, but it’s tall, it’s lit up with cool lights, and it was in “The Dark Knight”.

The Backyard

Posted on May - 1 - 2010

The Backyard, a 6000-square foot idyllic outdoor play place, is part of the Langham Place hotel. This place is not on top of the Langham Place Hotel, but it’s one of the best outdoor place to have a drink after work.
Chill-out in outdoor lounges framed by swaying palms, kick back in cabanas with savoury bites and scintillating summer libations, and get into the groove on the dance floor as you take in the stellar sounds, in a night that will take your breath away!

So posh that the financial crisis might have wiped out half its clientele. Ice cream here costs as much as a five-course meal elsewhere. At RED you get to stare at the IFC.
