
The roof terrace of Swisshotel Metropole is located next to the Geneva Lake, and it offers a 360 degrees view of Geneva. There are tables on each side, the ones on the right are comfy lounge chairs, and the others are high tables with chairs. The DJ booth is in the middle, and at the end of the terrace you have the bar. The place is often packed, so a table reservation is highly recommended to get in. It is with no doubt one of the best spot of Geneva to have a drink and to meet people. Enjoy !
London’s oldest roof garden, still known to many as ‘Derry and Toms Roof Garden’, recalling the name of the department store which commissioned the garden. The garden covers 1.5 acres and is100ft above street level. It has ponds, bridges, walks, trees, shrubs and sitting areas, with a pronounced Arts and Crafts character. There is an English Woodland Garden with nearly 100 species of tree, Spanish Garden with fountains and Walled Tudor Garden. The Roof Garden has been owned by Sir Richard Branson since 1981.
To get in, you’ll have to pay £20 ($30) on Fridays and £25 ($38) on Saturdays. Phone ahead to make sure the Gardens have not been reserved for a private function.
Shoreditch House is a private members’ club located in the heart of Shoreditch, East London and is approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station. Located on the top of an old train Station (Gare des Brotteaux), this rooftop is part of the First Tendency, one of the best spot of Lyon’s Nightlife. House, groove and the latest dancefloor hits are guaranteed to be blasting out over the packed club. In the summer, this place is crowded and is a must go for afterwork drinks.

There’s even an eatery inside the club, so you don’t have to leave the club even if you get hungry. It looks a lot like a modern tropical bar, but there is also a strong food component, and it is possible to get a full meal here after midnight – a good drawing point among the late-night crowd.
Helipad opened in 2008 and is in the heart of Singapore’s party district Clarke Quay. A little bit difficult to locate for first timers as it is on the top of the “Central Mall”, reachable via the car park elevator.
