Our selection of rooftops in ‘Middle East’
Vogue
Uptown Bar
Located on the 24th floor of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, this elevated cocktail bar with its spacious terrace provides spectacular view of the stunning Burj Al Arab and Dubai’s striking skyline. The sophisticated beverage menu with its extensive selection of cocktails, champagnes and vintage wines, combined with the elegant atmosphere and tempting tapas menu, provides the perfect combination to enjoy an evening with friends, after work relaxation, aperitifs or post dinner drinks.
Gaja Sky Bar
Set in the heart of Istanbul, Gaja embraces it all: premium wines, a breathtaking view and the timeless silhouette of Istanbul.
Originally a Sanskrit word, “Gaja” symbolizes fertility, royalty and richness. No wonder this rooftop was inspired by it.
White
White immortalizes the spirit of Beirut. White’s rooftop bar, situated atop Nahar Building, opens exclusively from May to October, during which it hosts a who’s who lineup of world-famous acts and international DJs who come to rock the decks.
The space is exactly what you might expect, a lavish terrace with very little color aside from the slick white design palette that extends throughout the canopy-covered dining room and open-air lounge that’s one of Beirut’s top destinations for the under-40 and fabulous. No wonder nights at White have been described as “nothing short of spectacular.” Diners arrive around 8PM and by 1AM the scene turns into a full-on nightclub as dinner plates are traded in for dancing shoes and flirtatious moves.
Sky Bar in Beirut
The aptly names Sky Bar, high above the Mediterranean coastline, provides a spectacular location for panoramic views of Beirut. The bar is a local living legend and even its recent move from the Palm Beach Hotel to the glamorous Biel high-rise did nothing to damage its reputation.
