Le Bain is located at the 18th floor of the fashion Standard Hotel, in the middle of Meatpacking. The roof is covered in grassy synthetic turf, yellow and white wicker furniture dots the bar areas (there are two), and the glass walls that line the roof are flanked by white picnic tables and five oversize, round, pink waterbeds.

Sky Night Bar
Ride the elevator to the top of the Hotel Puerta América, where each floor have been designed by a celebrity architect. The rooftop terraza, Sky Night Bar, designed by Jean Nouvel, occupies the 13th floor of the hotel. It offers some of the best panoramic views in the city, features smooth bossa nova beats and pricey drinks. Music is laid-back ambient or occasional live jazz (at 11:30PM). After 10PM, it become a night club, so you can stay there late and continue to enjoy the view.
Azure
Located on the top two floors of Hotel LKF, Azure is a sophisticated yet contemporary restaurant and lounge. The most striking here is the prospect of looking down at the city lights from such a dizzying height. There is also the possibility to relax at 29th & 30th floors and feel the vibrant spirit of the city in the soft jazz played in the background.
To get to the roof (on the 30th floor), you have to buy a drink. But we are pretty sure that most of our readers always do so…
Uptown Bar
Located on the 24th floor of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, this elevated cocktail bar with its spacious terrace provides spectacular view of the stunning Burj Al Arab and Dubai’s striking skyline. The sophisticated beverage menu with its extensive selection of cocktails, champagnes and vintage wines, combined with the elegant atmosphere and tempting tapas menu, provides the perfect combination to enjoy an evening with friends, after work relaxation, aperitifs or post dinner drinks.
Bar d’Eau
Open seasonally, Bar d’Eau has an outdoor landscaped 6,000-square-foot Pool Deck with a blue Italian mosaic-lined lounge pool with a cascading waterfall as well as three private cabanas (perfect spot for a tête-à-tête). You will also find a Bocce ball court that proves lawn bowling isn’t just for crotchety old guys in Bryant Park. As the sun sets, it is an ideal place to enjoy al fresco cocktails above the city streets. Located on the seventh floor deck, Bar d’Eau’s views aren’t as spectacular as some of it’s midtown competition, but the bar itself keeps the atmosphere just as swank.
La terrasse Cuisine & Lounge
Located in a quiet street just steps from the hustle and bustle of the Via Veneto, this wrap-around terrace atop the former palazzo of the Ludovisi-Boncompagni family, boasts the most breathtaking views you’ll find anywhere in Rome, looking over the Villa Borghese and beyond. It’s beautifully decorated with comfortable seating and an expanded bar menu, featuring a nice wine selection, malt whiskeys, iced teas. The rooftop is open from morning till night, making it a perfect place for a late morning coffee, light lunch, an apperitivo or an after-dinner drink. When night falls on the Eternal City, the hotel’s terrace provides its customers with a shawl to keep warm.
During the summer months, they offer happy hours, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Top Deck
In 2005 Cafe Deco Group opened Top Deck, the unique restaurant and bar on the top floor of Hong Kong’s legendary Jumbo Floating Restaurant. If you don’t know this place, it’s an entire imperial floating palace in the middle of the Aberdeen Harbor in southern Hong Kong Island. Even Queen Elizabeth II has dined there!
Market Bar Rooftop
Guests who visit this chic West Loop bar can dine rain or shine under Chicago’s first retractable roof. Boasting flat-screen TVs, seven linen-draped cabanas, and the occasional celebrity (John Cusack and Blackhawk Chris Chelios are fans) it’s the perfect place to watch the game. Chef Joe Rosetti offers up a creative seasonal menu, featuring items like Baja Tacos and Short Rib Ravioli, as well as summer-inspired cocktails like the Crystal Mojito or Market Sangria.
