At the center of the Art Deco District on Ocean Drive, the Clevelander Hotel has two rooftop decks with ocean-front and city views. The C-Level Rooftop Terrace was named for it’s 360-panoramic views that it offers of the Atlantic Ocean, Miami skyline, Ocean Drive, Lummus Park and even the Port of Miami. So if it’s a good view that you’re looking for, we’re not sure if it can get any better than this.Ultra plush lounge chairs are located all around the sides of the rooftop, giving you a chance to either chill and catch some Miami rays, or grab a drink and catch up with a friend. And when it comes to drinks, the Clevelander never sells itself short. You don’t actually have to be a guest in order to enjoy the C-Level Rooftop Terrace at The Clevelander, there are day passes available for non-hotel guests. Also, they have a happy hour with $5 drinks. Don’t get there too late…

C Level Rooftop Terrace
The Top

In terms of local lounges it ranks at the top, both geographically and socially from its rooftop location a top the Adriana Hotel on Hvar harbor. From a groovy lobby lounge with its own following, guests arrive to the rooftop with walls pulsating in ambient blue lighting as martini drinkers in their designer resort wear sit on low-flung sofas and groovy club chairs arranged facing oversize windows overlooking Hvar harbor. An outdoor terrace connects to several lounge areas arranged in weatherized rattan with cushy pillows and flickering candlelit.
The Joule
The rooftop café invites guests to relax on the sprawling pool decks, where chic attendants, outfitted by celebrated designer Abi Ferrin, serve up creative cocktails including the Blossom, Tangerine Mojito, Cucumber Sage Margarita, the Arnie, Watermelon Sangria, and Grape Cooler.
Galaxy Bar
Nibbling on dim sum while gazing at the Acropolis can feel a bit surreal, but the Galaxy Bar serves up an Oriental, rather than meze, snack menu on its open-air terrace.
Bar Rouge
Bar Rouge is a magnificent dance club and bar with a terrace on the 7th floor, overlooking the Huangpu River. Today it has become one of the most popular night spots in Shanghai. The place is often full of expats. Maybe because the owners are two French guys… An excellent cocktail, wine and champagne list is available in an original setting. If you order their signature drink (Bar Rouge), they set the bar alight. You will be amazed at the range of different nightly entertainment, from « pink », electro, secret desire, or RNB nights to quieter ones with wine-tasting.
ToTT’s Roof Terrace
Causeway Bay has one swanky rooftop respite that isn’t talked about much. Ironically, it’s called ToTT, which stands for Talk of The Town. Located at 34th floor, the newly opened outdoor roof terrace, ToTT’s and Roof Terrace now offers alfresco dining and wining with exhilarating views of Victoria Harbour and the stunning city skyline. Entering the Roof Terrace from the striking red glass door, guests will be attracted by the breathtaking views of the harbour overlooking the Hong Kong Island’s skyscrapers that the newly constructed glass parapets, complemented by the wooden-decking and rich violet and gold mosaics.
The Sunday brunch, with its unlimited champagne, is so popular you should book at least 2 weeks in advance.
Sugar
Located on the 32nd floor and open until 2AM, this rooftop is designed to be the place for an after-work drink or a late “chill out”.
Red Bar
Situated below one of the world’s greatest skyscrapers, RED offers something unique: A chance to experience how it feels to sit at the foot of — and stare up at — a towering sovereign of the sky. RED finds itself in the shadow of the International Finance Center, all 86 floors of it (it’s on the rooftop garden of the IFC mall). It’s true that the IFC isn’t much to go drooling over, but it’s tall, it’s lit up with cool lights, and it was in “The Dark Knight”.
Panorama Terrace
It’s the city highest open air lounge of Berlin. On top of the Park Inn Berlin Hotel, this roof top is very impressive. There’s nothing around that high, so you have a 360° view of Berlin. A place to go for a drink with your date. You will also find The Casino Bar 37 on the hotel’s 37th floor which offers cocktails, all the specialties of an international bar until 2AM. You will have to pay an entrance fee (3€). Sometimes they organize based jump from the roof, impressive!
