Perched atop Icon Brickell/Viceroy’s 50th floor, C-50 is a low-slung, “semi-private” lounge decked out in marbled floors and turquoise leather sofas, and sporting an outdoor pool (highest in city) and bar area
“Semi-private” means the club’s technically for residents and hotel guests, but you can most likely slide in by eating at the 15th-floor resto, then getting the maitre to put you on the special elevator; or, apply for (free) membership by emailing the address: Club50@ViceroyMiami.com

Club 50 at Viceroy
Moon
The Palms teamed up with the Playboy Club giving revelers in Vegas a sexy place to blow their money on the 53rd floor of the palms Hotel.
Ghost Bar
The floor to ceiling windows and ever popular balcony provide jaw-dropping 360 degree views of the Vegas strip but the accompanying cocktails will calm the nerves of the worst vertigo sufferer!
The Glass Bar
The Glass Bar is an (optional) glass-enclosed rooftop bar at the top of the Hotel Indigo in Chelsea. On pleasant days, the glass roof is open to the air on all sides. But on a gray battleship of a day, the sides are wrapped in a transparent, waterproof covering, creating your booze-fueled sanctuary in the storm.
Head over to this rooftop bar for a cosmo and some sun on a warm summer afternoon, or enjoy the view with a drink under the glass enclosure when the weather is not so nice. Either way, Glass Bar at Hotel Indigo makes a wonderful addition to the already-booming rooftop bar scene in New York City.
Loof
A happening point and often location for events of all types, this rooftop offers an interesting design with an excellent view towards Singapore’s best known hotel, The Raffles Hotel. It looks a lot like a modern tropical bar, but there is also a strong food component, and it is possible to get a full meal here after midnight – a good drawing point among the late-night crowd.
Screening Room
The Screening Room rooftop bar is only on the 5th floor, but being located in the heart of China Town, the view up to the surrounding skyscrapers and the bustling streets downstairs is great. The Screening Room is composed of a restaurant, a studio, a whiskey bar, a rooftop…
Helipad
Helipad opened in 2008 and is in the heart of Singapore’s party district Clarke Quay. A little bit difficult to locate for first timers as it is on the top of the “Central Mall”, reachable via the car park elevator.
Breeze
This inventive lounge sits atop the fourth floor terrace of The Scarlet boutique hotel in Singapore’s Chinatown district. One look at the staff decked out in gauzy Thai-style garb and you know you’re in for a relaxed night at this rooftop terrace.
Sky Bar in Beirut
The aptly names Sky Bar, high above the Mediterranean coastline, provides a spectacular location for panoramic views of Beirut. The bar is a local living legend and even its recent move from the Palm Beach Hotel to the glamorous Biel high-rise did nothing to damage its reputation.
Press Lounge
The rooftop opened in May 2010. The “wow” effect is there, for sure! To the east, you get pure midtown cityscape with Times Square as strobe light; to the west, there’s the Hudson River. The hudge deck has seating for 172 on stools, couches, and podlike armchairs, all encircling a twenty-foot-long reflecting pool. Get there after work, around 7:00 PM, order a martini embellished with pickled ramps ($15) and a small plate of salumi, olives, and grilled bread ($15), and stick around for the sunset. What else?
El Viajero
This tri-level tavern offers a terrace on the third floor. El Viajero’s (“the Traveler”) rooftop is particularly beautiful at night. As the sun goes down, the terrace lights up with candles and makes the mood for romance (so beware who you take there!). It also grants you a good view of the old Madrid.
Bar 13
2 indoor floors, each with its own DJ, dance floor, bar and lounge PLUS a rooftop area with a bar and seating areas. Everyone working here is always super friendly and both staff and customers are untypically attitude free.
Saltwater
Saltwater is one of Nottingham’s most outstanding bars and restaurants; a terrace that can hold up to 250 party-goers, either for lazy days in the sunshine or slightly more energetic nights. The cocktail menu is impressive and the formal (yet still affordable) indoor restaurant is a good spot to have British food. Heat lamps and canopies mean you can party alfresco whatever the temperature and the weather.
Rooftop at Soho House
Soho House New York is a private members’ club and hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District (membership starts afrom $900, contact: membership@sohohouseny.com). For non-members, the hotel’s 24 guest bedrooms offer entry to all the perks.
Splash at Oscar Pool Club
This rooftop offers a “splash” pool, which is very, very tiny… but still refreshing when it’s 40°c! Then, when the rooftop closes, you can still party in its downstairs bar till late
Mirabé
From a splendid balcony in Barcelona at the end of the Avenida Tibidabo, where Tramvia Blau takes you, Mirabé is a spectacular place to meet up with friends, work collagues and to party.
Moon Bar
This open air bar-restaurant is 61 floors above the streets of Bangkok; sophisticated, romantic and reaching for the clouds, this terrace offers exotic cocktails, wine-by-the-glass or non-alcholic beverages in the bar area, and aslo a restaurant for a memorable dinner of barbecued seafood, such as Grilled Sea Bass with Citrus Salsa and Cilantro.
Aera Bar y Terraza
This rooftop is divided in two levels. The first one has a pool, while the upper level lets guests gather around its outdoor fireplace. Both allow a generous glimpse of the capital city, including a view of the massive national flag that flutters majestically from a tall pole in the distance. As at La Terraza at Condesa, the drinks are generously sized, if a bit pricey. DJs are part of the “party” at the end of the week…
The Backyard
The Backyard, a 6000-square foot idyllic outdoor play place, is part of the Langham Place hotel. This place is not on top of the Langham Place Hotel, but it’s one of the best outdoor place to have a drink after work.
Chill-out in outdoor lounges framed by swaying palms, kick back in cabanas with savoury bites and scintillating summer libations, and get into the groove on the dance floor as you take in the stellar sounds, in a night that will take your breath away!
